Lots of companies are doing what they can to help their customers during the Coronovirus outbreak, and several mobile companies are giving free unlimited data to access NHS online, so that customers can get reliable and up to date health information.
EE*, Vodafone*, VOXI and TalkMobile customers are being given free access to NHS UK online, including the web sites of NHS England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, so that they can get the latest health information at no additional cost.
In a press release Vodafone said "Free access to these services will be available for as long as the coronavirus (COVID-19) remains prevalent in the UK. While many Vodafone customers are already using our unlimited data plans, we want all our customers to be able to access these NHS online services without having to worry about data charges."
EE stated in a Facebook post that "It’s important for people to have the latest, accurate healthcare information. All our customers can now access the NHS online without using any of the data in their plan, even if they’ve run out of their allowance."
Phone calls to NHS 111 are already free to use across all providers.
