McDonald's have launched a Happy Meal for grown ups!

McDonald's have launched its first-ever "adult Happy Meal" in a major collaboration with Minecraft that will feature exclusive collectibles.

The popular video game is set to come to life in two theme parks to open in the US and UK, but before it does, Minecraft is also taking over Hollywood in a blockbuster featuring stars including Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge, and more.

The iconic fast food chain is offering what might be its first ever 'Adult Happy Meal', with six collectible toys up for grabs in a move that has already captured the imagination of collectors.

Launched today, 26th March, the new Happy Meal will include a Big Mac and an option of nine McNuggets or four Veggie Dippers as well as a choice of a side and drink. It will also feature one of six "exclusive collectible" toys that have been specifically "crafted for adults".

They include iconic McDonald’s characters like Grimace, Hamburglar and Birdie the Early Bird that have been "blockified" in Minecraft's style.

As well as the A Minecraft Move Meal, the collaboration will also see several new additions to the menu, including a new Apple Cake McFlurry - featuring swirls of apple and shortcake pieces and a sour apple source - as well as the limited-edition Nether Flame sauce - a hot sauce inspired by the Nether with crushed red pepper and flaming cayenne, balanced with hints of garlic and sweetness.
