I have seen the Bounce and Spin Zebra in action before and it looks like such a laugh. I think this is VTech’s version of the zebra toy. It’s looks like a similar structure.
Boots.com have the VTech Bounce and Discover Frog for half price just now, making it £14.99. This is a lot cheaper than elsewhere, Amazon have it for £28.30, Tesco for £29.98 and an expensive £33 at Debenhams.
So, what exactly does this toy do? Your baby can bounce for as long as there little legs can manage. It has buttons that teach numbers, different colours, and animal sounds when pressed. VTech toys are always educational in some way.
What surprises me is that this has a British accent, not sure what one of those is, but normally toys are American sounding. I think it will be a very polite, generic sounding English accent. You know the one they use in American films that no one in real life has. How great would it be if it was a cockney or broad Glaswegian accent?
One of this froggy’s features is the roller ball and motion sensor. It is supposed to enhance hand-eye co-ordination and motor skills. Once movement is detected, by the motion sensor, funny sounds can be heard.
There’s two different modes of play and six sing-along songs to stimulate your little darling. It will suit children between a year and a half and three years old.
Collection costs £1.95 from your local Boots store (free if you spend over £20) or have it delivered for £2.95
