I saw this yesterday and it was £19.99 - but today it's even cheaper. Today Argos have reduced the price of the Star Wars Inflatable Remote Controlled R2D2 to only £17.99, when it was originally selling for £39.99, and it's still around £40 everywhere else. That seems like a really good price for a toy this big.
If you saw the Lightning McQueen yesterday, this is a very similar toy. It's official Star Wars merchandise, so is very detailed, it's more than 2 feet high when inflated, and has a proper remote control to send him off in all directions or spin around 360 degrees.
Storage shouldn't be too much of an issue, as he can be deflated to pack away.
Remember to get the batteries, as none come with it.
Availability looks really good at the moment, but I would imagine that could change pretty quickly seeing as this is such a great price compared to all other retailers.
I'm not showing this one to my son - it will spoil a birthday surprise. ;)
