I'm very excited by this deal - I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan, I can't help it.
This is a genius combination of two legends that were big parts of my childhood - Lego and the Millennium Falcon. The marriage of Lego and Star Wars is utterly fabulous and this house is awash with it, from Lego Star Wars on the Wii and XBox through to little models in various states of construction.
But the Millennium Falcon! Well it's an icon, the ultimate in space travel and no self-respecting Star Wars fan should be without one - no matter how old or young you are.
My brother had Millennium Falcon when we were kids and I dread to think how many hours of our lives were spent playing with it...it would have been even more awesome if we could have built it first!
The blurb says it's suitable for ages eight and upwards but, quite frankly, if you've got a younger Star Wars fan (like I have) then I wouldn't let that put you off as I'm sure there'll be a keen pair of older hands MORE than happy to help build the most famous star ship in the galaxy.
It's exclusive to Tesco Direct, it's been reduced from £29.97 to £20.00 and you can arrange to collect it from your local store for free or pay £4.95 for standard delivery (which I think is a bit much - c'mon Tesco sort this out please!)
