What The Ladybird Heard is a really sweet book my daughter loves having her daddy read to her. It's the story of how two crafty robbers hatch a cunning plan to steal the farmer’s fine prize cow. But the quietest, tiniest creature on the farm has a plan of her own and things are going to get noisy as the farm animals take matters into their own hands.

There are 10 animal sounds for the different animals. The images are bold, flamboyant and fun, and children love them. The text has a fluid lyricism and rhyme making for easy reading. The buttons are large and easy to press, which little fingers love too.
