Unless you're a Muggle, Harry Potter Book Night can't have escaped your notice! It was actually on the 5th of Feb (as some of our eagle-eyed readers spotted - apologies for the misinformation earlier) but there are several events happening at local libraries this weekend in celebration.
Bloomsbury Children's Books, the publishers of the legendary Harry Potter series, launched the world's first Harry Potter Book Night to celebrate all things Potter, so check out your local library to find out if there are any special events happening. Ours is showing the Prisoner of Azkaban, and has a whole host of fun activities laid on for little wizards and witches, too.
A bunch of public events have also been happening throughout the country.
To find out more about Harry Potter Night, click here. Once you've registered, you can even download a complete Harry Potter Book Night Event Kit which includes everything you need to plan and host your very own Harry Potter Book Night! There's everything from invitation templates plus games and quizzes to posters and even ideas for how to dress up as your favourite Potter character (Hermione, of course) and decorate your venue.
Having recently been to the Warner Bros Studio Tour to see The Making of Harry Potter, I can safely say that my own little Potter fans will be up to all sorts of wizarding wonder tonight, which is when we've decided to celebrate. Will you?
