Amazon has reduced the price on this Cars 2 Spiral Speedway set. It's down from £26.99 to £17.49. Delivery is free with UK super saver delivery. That's a saving of 35% on the original price, and I've not found it cheaper elsewhere.
I've not seen or played with this toy, but we have a few of the Cars 2 toys range in our house and they've been pretty robust. One thing I've learnt having a 7 year old son is that they sure do seem to love spending hours racing cars. Also, with the other sets we have, I've found that most Hot Wheels cars will fit in them as well. I don't know if that's the case with this one too but it might be likely.
Fisher-Price Disney Pixar Cars 2 - Spiral Speedway combines the excitement of vehicle play and ramps with the popular characters from the Cars 2 movie. Includes Francesco and McQueen, two of the lead racers in the movie.
Push down on the back of the starting gate to "rev up" the cars and get them ready to race. Then flip up the gate to activate character sound effects and launch the two vehicles into a side-by-side race down three spirals and three different cities featured in the movie.
When play is done, the vehicles store in the base until next time. And the easy-carry handle makes taking it on the go a cinch.
