If you get yourself over to Home Bargains you'll be able to bag yourself bottles of this Calypso SPF30 sun lotion for £2.99, rather than £7.99, and every sale supports Marie Curie Cancer Care too.
I'm not a snob when it comes to sun protection - I don't mind who makes it, as long as it does its job and doesn't rip me off in the process.
It's bugged me for years that the giant sun lotion brands cost an absolute fortune - for something that we're told everyone should use, you'd think everyone would want to make sure that the price wasn't prohibitive for anyone.
But that, seemingly, isn't the case - so you're going to have to keep your eyes open, and your ears to the proverbial ground, to make sure you don't pay full whack for your family's sun protection.
This Calypso SPF30 sun lotion has, and I quote: "A light and non-greasy formulation has gentle moisturisers, which replenish natural oils lost by exposure to sun, wind and water. Even better, it is photostable with UVA/UVB protection to help prevent premature ageing."
I'd go and collect my Calypso sun lotion from my nearest Home Bargains; if you can't, then they'll deliver it to you for a few extra pence - probably 99, in this instance, as it's a small parcel.
Happy getting ready for the sunshine!
