Ingredients
- 250g Butter
- Pinch of Salt
- 260g Caster Sugar
- 400g Dark Chocolate*
- 5 Large Eggs
You'll also need:
Method
- Set the oven at 150°C
- Separate your egg whites and yolks, then chop up the chocolate
- Pop the butter and the chocolate in a bowl and melt over a pan of boiled water, or stick in the microwave for 30 secs at a time and stir until melted.
- In a saucepan, melt the sugar into tablespoons of water, and then bring to the boil for around a minute.
- Gently fold in the chocolate/butter mix and take off the hob.
- Let it cool for five minutes, then mix the egg yolks in.
- Now whisk up the egg whites until stiff and folk into the chocolate batter.
- Pop into the springform tin and bake for an hour.
Serve once it's completely cooled down.
