Nice little freebie on offer here but you’ll have to be quick as there’s only 1,000 codes available. Unfortunately it’s only available on iOS devices at the minute, there are plans for it on Android but no date has been set as yet.
There’s a few ways to claim a code for your little one. You can send a direct message on Twitter to @UKEdChat, or request one via a message on the link below.
I like these little apps as they make learning fun, which is half the battle where kids are concerned. This one by Andrew Brodie, a former teacher and headmaster, is described as “engaging” and “rewarding” – and it award winning no less.
Developed with the current curriculum changes that are happening in school across the UK right now, this particular app is aimed at 5 to 6 year olds and is split into three parts :
1.Starter questions – random questions aimed as a ‘warm-up’ activity.
2.Progress tests – Seven sets of 20 questions to explore your maths ability and tracking score.
3.Practice quizzes – An unlimited quiz set to check skills.
Generally these apps cost around a couple of pounds over on iTunes and if you’d like to find out more click here for 6-7,7-8 is here and 8-9 is here.
Something you think your little one would enjoy?
