Italian confectionery giant Ferrero celebrated Nutella's 60th anniversary in Paris recently with a sweet surprise: the launch of Nutella Ice Cream! The ice cream hit Italian supermarket shelves in June 2024 but we have just spotted it online at Morrisons so it's only a matter of time before it hits even more supermarket shelves in the UK!
The ice cream was described as a 'Nutella 2.0' moment, combining the Nutella flavour with a new frozen texture for a unique, creamy, ice cream experience.
This ice cream version of the popular hazelnut chocolate spread comes three years after Ferrero launched Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello ice cream sticks.
The 230-gram tub of Nutella-based ice
cream, made with milk, sugar, cream, and crunchy hazelnuts has appeared online at Morrisons but is currently out of stock. It will be coming back soon but at a price, £5.50 in fact!
