So all our favourite restaurants are shut, but fear not - you can now get Nando’s, Pizza Express, YO!, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Las Iguanas flavoured Walkers crisps!
The new five new limited-edition Taste Icons flavours have been inspired by some of the UK’s favourite restaurants.
Each is based on a signature dish with Nando’s PERi-PERi chicken, GBK's classic cheeseburger, the American Hot pizza from Pizza Express, YO!'s katsu curry and the chilli con carne from Las Iguanas.
Single-serve packets are available for around 69p, a grab bag for 84p, a five-bag multi-pack for £1 and a 15-bag multi-pack for £2.50, and they have been spotted in store at Home Bargains* already.
Are these really an 'essential purchase' as per the lockdown guidelines? Maybe not, but perhaps some will fall into my basket by accident while I'm buying my groceries.
