It seems like the chocolate manufacturers have cottoned onto the fact that we love those American versions of our favourite bars, and are mixing things up a little. First, Nestle announced the new Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavoured Munchies, and now Mars have blown up the whole market with their new Twix Cookies & Creme.

Itching to get your mouth on the new Twix Cookies & Creme edition? We were hoping they'd be out in time for Christmas, but Mars have other ideas and say they won't hit the UK shelves until January 2020. Bummer!
On the plus side, what a way to cheer yourself up after the hype of the festive season.
A Twix usually takes form as a buttery biscuit base, topped with caramel and enrobed in milk chocolate - the new Cookies & Creme Twix is a hell of a lot sexier with it's dark Oreo-esque cookie base, slathered with a creamy chocolate studded fondant, and wrapped in that classic Mars produced milk chocolate.
There aren't many details released yet, but we do know that they will be sold as individual bars, and we hope that there will be multipacks too.
