Last year M&S released their Little Shop, this year they have released their Little Garden! Little Shop gave children the chance to collect up to 25 miniature toy food products and build their own mini M&S food hall.
However Marks and Spencer came under criticism for using plastic so this time around they are offering collectable sets of 12 different seedling kits, made up of flowers, vegetables and herbs, for families to collect and grow.
You can pick up your FREE seedling kit for every £20 spent in the M&S Foodhall. The kits include a packet of seeds, one biodegradable pot, one soil tablet, one seed label and one seed mat.
It’s really easy to start growing each one – just mix the tablet with water to create soil and plant the mat in the pot, before adding the label. There are 12 to collect: basil, beetroot, carrot, chilli pepper, forget-me-not, lettuce, micro cress, pansy, parsley, pepper, radish and viola.

The kits are available until
29th March or until stocks last and the seeds will be followed by the launch of Little Garden
accessories, including a colourful miniature tool set and watering can
for £3 each which are suitable for those aged three-plus.
M&S says that, in view of past concerns about young children being disconnected from their food and its origins, it's hoped that the Little Garden project will help them see first-hand how plants grow as their enjoy the rewards of their seed-planting.
The store has also teamed up with gardening expert Lee Connelly - known as The Skinny Jean Gardener - who is known for his work in the CBBC Blue Peter garden and he will be sharing some tips as well as taking part in a nationwide school tour, sponsored by M&S, which will be encouraging pupils to bring in their home-nurtured plants - once ready for re-potting - and start a mini allotment within their school grounds.
