I don't know where the idea has came from, but Mr Kipling has released a PUG cake range and it looks yummy. Previously, they've launched limited edition ladybird and unicorn cakes slices, and the new additions are sure to please dog lovers.
Mr Kipling Pug Cakes
There are three new limited edition cakes from Mr Kipling in the new pug range. All are available in Tesco stores throughout the UK, and online - where you'll find each item at £1 each.
The Mr Kipling Pug Chocolate Whirls come in a six pack, and are made up of light shortbread swirls with a chocolate flavoured filling and chocolate sauce.
Prefer a cake slice with your cuppa? You'll love the Pug Chocolate Slices with their layers of chocolate flavoured, caramel coloured sponge with vanilla flavour filling and chocolate fondant icing topping.
If you love the almondy flavours of batterberg cake, then try the five pack of Mr Kipling's pug ones. Instead of that traditional pink and yellow chequered effect, it's done in brown and caramel colours. Worry not though, as the flavours are the same.
The pug range can be found in the bakery aisles of Tesco stores, and are identifiable by their sky blue packaging.
Who is Mr Kipling owned by?
Premier Foods own the Mr Kipling brand, and they are made by Manor Bakeries Ltd - who also manufactures cakes under Lyons and Cadbury names.
