You may think that the supermarkets cater rather nicely for vegans these days, but you're wrong. Sure, credit for the expansion of the selection on offer, but where are the goodies? I'm talking about chocolate. Galaxy are on the ball and have spotted a massive gap in the market, and have produced the first big brand vegan chocolate bar for the UK.
Galaxy Chocolate For Vegans
From the 18th November 2019, Tesco supermarkets will be stocking the three different varieties of the new vegan-friendly Galaxy chocolate bars. Shortly after Amazon and Ocado will have them on sale too.
Choose from Smooth Orange, Caramel and Sea Salt and Caramelised Hazelnut. Each is fully certified by The Vegan Society, so you can enjoy a guilt-free treat.
They are even packaged in recyclable sleeves and compostable film.
The 100g bars come in at around double the cost of a regular bar of Galaxy at £3, but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
Apparently, makers Mars Incorporated have created the vegan chocolate without compromising on the brand's famous creamy and smooth taste.
