It's been said by millennials that the way to judge inflation is by the cost of a Cadbury Dairy Milk Freddo. Back in the 90's this chocolate treat was never more than 10p but over the last few years the price has risen to a whopping 25p causing outrage! However Morrisons shoppers who have a Morrisons More card or account can get the froggy bar for just 10p in stores from tomorrow!
The last time you could buy the Cadbury product for 10p was back in
2005, a whopping 19 years ago and since then the price has increased by
roughly 2p a year. Sainsburys also ran a similar promotion a couple of months back and that was the first time we saw it back at 10p.
Confectionery Buying Manager at Morrisons, Mike Kenny, said “We’re bringing back a sweet taste of nostalgia to celebrate our 125th anniversary and we’re thrilled to be able to offer everyone’s favourite Freddo bar for just 10p.
"The offer won’t be available for long, so customers will need to be quick at nabbing themselves a bar, or two, or three!”
Morrisons 10p Freddos will be available in-store across the UK for a limited time only - from June 21st to 24th, so make sure you are quick if you want to
get your hands on a cheap Freddo or two!
