Aldi Have Released A Diet-Friendly Wine!

Aldi cannot put a foot wrong, especially now they have only gone and released a diet-friendly Wine.

Unlike other Supermarkets, they haven't bumped it up in price because it's 'for slimmers' either. It's only £2.99 a bottle.

There are four different varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Italian Pinot Grigio, a Merlot, and White Zinfandel. Each has an alcohol percentage of 5.5, which means it's less than your average bottle of vino.

What's the damage? A 125ml glass of Aldi's Featherweight Pinot Grigio contains a teeny tiny amount - just 55 calories. That is roughly half than a standard Pinot Grigio at roughly 105 calories a glass.

The Featherweight Sauvignon Blanc is 55 calories per 125ml glass and the Merlot is slightly more at 59.

Unfortunately, it's only the Merlot that's available nationwide. The other varieties will be on sale in only some stores.

The Sauvignon Blanc and White Zinfandel can be found in Bathgate, Chelmsford, Goldthorpe, Neston and Swindon. The Pinot Grigio in Atherstone, Bolton, Cardiff and Darlington.

Let's hope if they sell well that they will roll them out to all of their stores!
