The social distancing and shop closures means that we haven't been able to get the kids out to the shoe shops, but that doesn't mean their little feet have stopped growing! Start-Rite Shoes are helping their customers to measure children's feet at home, with a free paper measuring gauge.
You can download and print the free paper gauge, or if you don't have a printer you can fill out the request form on their website and they will pop one in the post free of charge.
Start-Rite also sell measuring gauges like the ones used in stores. The Large Foot Measuring Gauge* is suitable for children ages around 3 and over, from infant shoe size 9, and costs £10.
The Small Measuring Gauge*(up to infant size 8 1/2), also £10, is currently out of stock, with more due from June.
There's also a full online Measuring At Home* guide, including step-by-step instructions plus a video, so that parents can accurately measure their children's feet at home.
Once you have measured your child's feet you can order with no risk, as there's free delivery on all orders at the moment, and an extended 90 day returns period too.
