The decrease in VAT and the Eat Out Scheme set by the Government, has meant that many eateries are able to decrease the price of their goods, by a much as 50% on Mondays to Wednesdays. This means we can enjoy eating or drinking out, whilst saving on the usual costs involved. Music to my ears, with three kids in tow.
Costa are one of the chains passing on the savings from the VAT cuts and the Eat Out Scheme, and their prices have dropped accordingly, well from 3rd August...
Opt for a small filter coffee in a reusable cup and all you'll pay is 32p! How crazy is that?!
Remember, that the special prices apply on a Monday to Wednesday in August only. You can save 50% off all food and drink (up to value of £10 per person) when you opt to sit in.
Fancy coffee and cake? Well, with this new price in place all it'll cost you for two medium lattes, lemon drizzle cake and a blueberry muffin is £4.25 (usually £9.70).
A Sausage Bap will only cost £1.29, Millionaire’s Shortbread 86p and a Croissant will be just 59p!
