Don't forget that Self Assessment Tax Returns must be filed before 31st January. Miss that deadline and you're subject to a £100 fine, and even more the later you are.
It can be a rather stressful experience 'doing your Tax Return' and in previous years there has been little help on offer.
The Self Assessment Tax Return is not just for the 'Self Employed' but for those claimants of Child Benefit who are earning £50,000 or more. Only applies when one of the claimants earns £50,000+ and not combined income adding to £50,000.
If you have never filled out a Self Assessment Tax Return then you may have a sweat on, especially since the clock is ticking to get it in. Accountants and Financial Advisors can help but their fee can be costly.
Now, you can book a place in a 'Self Assessment Help and Support' Webinars. You do not need to divulge ANY personal details and these are run by HMRC themselves.
Once the webinars have begun you can join and leave at any point. You don't need to vocally participate and you can just listen to grasp the information you need to complete your Tax Return.
Each session is live and runs for two hours. Here are the sessions available.
