I've been glued to the weather forecast today, and it seems like parts of the country are having their first snowfall of the winter, so it's time to get the snow toys out! Becky told us about a bargain sledge for £3.99, and if you want something a little bit different as well, how about getting a Snow Scooter? The Boys Toyz snow scooters have a snowboard-style base with a scooter-style hinged handle for speed control. Anti-skid footpads ensure a safe footing and maximum speed and the scooter is made from tough ABS plastic. It folds down for easy storage and carrying. They're for kids aged 5 and upwards, with a maximum of 11 stones / 70kg, so plenty of adults will be able to have a go on these as well!
They look like brilliant fun, though it might be a good idea to use the same safety equipment you would use with a regular scooter, as tumbles might be likely while the kids get used to them. My son is desperate for one as we are forecast heavy snow tomorrow night here, and there's tons of hills and slopes to try it out on. He can't wait!
