If you're in the market for an un-fussy, not-themed, elegant and simple toddler bed, then you should head over to Mothercare and take a look at this wooden one - it's full retail price is usually £69.99, it's now £48.99.
I really like the look of this wooden toddler bed; it comes in either antique pine or white - both colour options cost the same - and meaures 144cm (length) x 76cm (width) x 55cm (height).
You're going to have to buy a mattress to go with your toddler bed, but that's pretty much standard practice with all moses baskets, cots, cot beds and toddler beds.
If you didn't go for a cot bed initially and are worried that your two-ish year old might be a little phased by the HUGE leap to a standard single bed, then a toddler bed is what you need, and this particular one has some great reviews:
This bed is great value! Had bought another for my other child and it was double the price. This is just as good. My 2.5 year old loves it too
Steady bed, easy installation. My 3 years old daughter loves her new bed and started sleep on it every night since it was installed
Solid, sturdy, excellent value for money. we also bought the chest of drawers to go with this, and everything looks fantastic in the bedroom. Our little man loves his big boys bed. Transition was much easier than expected. would definitely recommend
As far as getting your hands on your wooden toddler bed goes - you have two choices: you can collect it yourself in-store or have Mothercare deliver it to your home for free.
