Of course at the price you have to factor in £4.95 for shipping, unless you're buying a few other bits, like for instance a travel cot mattressand £7.99 reduced from £19.99 and a travel cot sheet, for £10.39 instead of £12.99 - for £38.37 you can have a whole kitted out and ready to go travel cot, as compared to the original £49.99 for the travel cot alone. Tesco has the cot for £49.50, and Precious Little One for over £50.
Some of the reviews on this Chicco travel cot confirm my experience with the one we had - that it has a really hard mattress, not really suited ot any kind of long term use. We solved this by putting a silk duvet cover over the mattress and a cot sheet over that, but it wasn't ideal and at £7.99 a new mattress would have been an easy solution.
While I think the cot itself is a great price for a sturdy, durable and useful if you don't cosleep travel solution, the discounted accessories are cherries on the proverbial cake.
