The Philips Avent SCF300 manual breastpump is down from £30.99 to only £14.99 at Babysecurity.co.uk. While not a fan of manual pumps myself, this is a good saving on one of the best brands and well worth looking at if you’re in the market for one.
The Philips Avent manual breastpump is BPA free and has, apparently, been clinically proven to express more milk than a hospital electric pump. They have a patented let-down massage cushion that’s made from five soft petal massagers that flex in and out as you pump and imitate the sucking motion of a baby.
The unit is easy to assemble, mimics a baby’s feeding naturally which makes it easier to pump, and is less than half the original price. I find that manual breastpumps are far too much work and very tiring for very little reward. However, there are loads of mums who prefer them to electric pumps and find them much easier to use.
