Boots have a half price offer on Pampers Sensitive baby wipes Jumbo Packs. These contain 6 x of the 63 wipe packs, which (if it isn't too early in the morning for maths as I write this) works out to a total of 378 wipes or 62p a pack.
I didn't start using baby wipes until my son was around four months old. Up until then cotton wool and water worked just fine. But as baby gets older, you need wipes more and more. And not just for wiping bottoms! My son is five years old and I still keep wipes on hand. We also have them in the car. Not just for my son but for all of us - nothing wipes grease off fingers for example better than a baby wipe!
The Pampers Sensitive baby wipes are alcohol free, which we needed more for my husband who's skin reacts to all sorts of things than for the baby! According to Pamper's they are gentle enough to be used on newborns and babies with sensitive skin. Pamper's say they also contain baby essences and Chamomile - renowned for its calming properties. I'm a little perplexed by what they mean by baby essences but am going to assume something of an aromatherapy nature!
