I've owned three high chairs - two reasonable inexpensive usual ones and a much more expensive wooden Tripp-Trapp one.
All of these are fine for keeping at home but if your little one spends a lot of time at various grandparents' houses, or you go out a lot as a family for dinner then you'll need a high chair in each place AND will end up playing high chair hygiene roulette in restaurants, and that's assuming they even HAVE high chairs available!
So how about this for an idea that's simple AND eco-friendly too - a flat-packed cardboard high chair!
It's easy to carry around and easy to open and construct each time you want to use it. It's designed for toddlers aged 18 months or older and is made from 100% recycled cardboard.
Originating in Australia it was selling there for the equivalent of £22.60 but here's the snag - despite having read several reports, features and articles about the Feedaway high chair which all say it was due for release here at the end of 2010, I can't find ANY UK stockists.
Germany and Austria, yes, but the UK...no.
If you've seen them on sale somewhere or do a better 'Sherlock Holmes' than me and come across an online retailer, then please do let me know!
