OH yes, him of baggy trousers and 'you can't touch this' fame has been enlisted by a smart dad, over at ParentHacks, to help teach his young son what he can and can't touch.
It's easy to forget the minefield of learning and remembering that small children have to go through every day and this hack has to be one of the best, and most funny, I've seen.
Simply print out pictures of MC Hammer and stick them by the things your kids mustn't touch, by way of a gentle reminder and a bit of an homage, let's face it, to the man with the most saggy crutch in showbiz!
Of course, unless you inflict Mr Hammer's 'You Can't Touch This' musical composition on your child, they'll probably wonder why you've chosen some strange man to show them what they can and can't touch; the comedy element, I'm sure, will be lost on them.
There's nothing to stop you using a different character to help your child remember what's out of bounds for them - the first character who just jumped into my mind was Elmo! But if you have a young Thomas fan, use him; if you have a Peppa Pig fan, use her. Ben 10, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob Square Pants I'm sure would all be able to lend a hand too.
If think of, or already use, any great and original ideas to help your child get to grips with what to, and not, touch, please do share them with us.
