Co-op had to issue a recall of Chocolate Santas because of the same problem of batteries being found inside.
You can read the full recall and further information on the Food Standards Agency website here.
I can't believe it's happened again. I was one of the people that found two batteries in the chocolate santas. I called co-op today to be told they don't know how its happening. The factory has installed an X-ray machine and all cctv is being looked over. They should never have made the Easter bunny chocolates if the santa issue wasn't resolved. I dread to think what would of happened if I havent of found them tiny batteries. I just pray no one gets harmed by them x co-op has a lot of explaining to do that's for sure!
