There are big changes coming to Click and Collect at Tesco. From 2nd February Tesco Direct will be introducing a charge of £2 for Click and Collect orders under £30, ending their universal free service.
Customers were informed of the change by email today with the following message:
"From early February 2016, we will be introducing a £2 delivery charge for Click+Collect orders under £30 at Tesco direct. This will help ensure we can continue to offer you the convenience of picking up your order from your chosen store at a time that suits you. All customers will continue to enjoy free Click+Collect delivery for orders over £30 on Tesco direct. And there's no change to home delivery options."
Delivery Saver* customers are not affected by this change, and they will still get free delivery on Tesco Direct orders over £10 and free click and collect with no minimum spend.
Will a £2 charge stop customers using Click & Collect at Tesco altogether, or just make you opt for home delivery instead for £3? Or it it time to take out that free month trial of Tesco Delivery Saver*?
