We told you about the Sit n Scoots recalled by Tesco a few days ago, and now Argos have also issued a recall notice on a similar product made by the same company. The Grow & Go 2 in 1 Sit 'n' Scoot has the same fault as the other models previously recalled, in that it could pose a finger entrapment hazard for small children.
If you have this toy you can return it to Argos stores for a full refund. If you bought this product from a different store you should contact the retailer direct, or contact the manufacturer on the details below.
You can see the recall notice on the Argos website here*, and it follows in full below:
Important safety notice – Product safety warning
Grow & Go 2 in 1 Sit 'n' Scoot – Cat number 264/9555
It has been brought to our attention that in certain unusual circumstances the push button mechanism which converts the Grow 'n' Go 2 in 1 Sit & Scoot from a ride on to a scooter (and vice versa) could pose a potential finger entrapment hazard for small children.
