British actor Jude Law is going to become a father again - for the fifth time.
The 41 year old father of four confirmed the news via his spokesperson, who released a statement which said:
I can confirm that Jude Law and Catherine Harding are expecting a child together in the spring.
The expectant mother, who is thought to be approximately five months into her pregnancy, is a singer / songwriter who also goes by the name Cat Cavelli.
The Daily Mail reports that 23-year-old Catherine spent six weeks on holiday with Jude in the Czech Republic earlier this year. The baby "will be Law's fifth child, by three different partners" according to the Mail.
The statement issued by Jude's spokesperson also confirmed that the couple are no longer in a relationship but that they both remain "wholeheartedly committed" to raising their child.
Jude and ex-wife Sadie Frost have three children together; sons Rafferty (18) and Rudy (12) and daughter Iris (14). He also had another daughter in 2008 with US model Samantha Burke, with whom he was not in a relationship at the time of the child's birth.
In 2009 Jude said in an interview with Parade magazine that fatherhood had changed him and was "what counts" in life. Claiming that getting up at 7am to get breakfast for his children instead of sleeping until noon was "not so bad", he added that having a daughter had made him realise that "if there’s anything that’s going to make a man of you, it’s having your will broken by a little girl".
