Hot on the heels of yesterday's announcement about the new Frozen Stage Musical comes today's exciting news for Anna and Elsa fans. ABC TV has said there will be a new television special coming.... although you will have to wait until Christmas 2017 to see it. I know someone who will be putting that in their diary right now!
Digital Spy reports:
"All the voice cast from the 2013 movie will return, including Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad.
Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (Prep & Landing) will direct the special, which does not currently have an official title or a broadcast date nailed down."
There's also Frozen 2 in the works, a complete full-length sequel to the original movie, and that is expected to also be released around the same time as the TV special.
The original Frozen movie has become the biggest animated film of all time, so along with Frozen Fever, Frozen 2, Frozen on Ice, and the new broadway musical there will be plenty of opportunities for Anna, Elsa and the rest of the gang to stick around for a long while yet.
