It's amazing to see how many companies are donating their good and services to NHS staff in recognition of their efforts fighting COVID-19, and now Glasses Direct are offering free glasses to NHS workers.
The company originally committed to donate 2000 pairs of prescription glasses to NHS staff, but today they have doubled their donation due to an overwhelming response, and now are giving away 4000 pairs.
Glasses Direct said "Thank you, NHS workers, for all your tireless work and efforts during these difficult times surrounding the current COVID-19 crisis. To show our appreciation for everything you’ve done and continue to do we are giving 2,000 free pairs of glasses to NHS workers."
To claim your free pair just send an email to [email protected] with a photograph of you holding your NHS ID so that Glasses Direct's customer services team can verify who you are. If you don't have a badge, you can send your NHS PIN and name so they can verify it on the GMC or NMC websites. After this, they will reply to you with a unique code that gets you a free pair from the £9-£20 range* with single vision clear standard lenses and the Silver lens package – which has scratch-resistant and anti-reflection coatings. Your glasses will be delivered for free too.
With the donation being doubled to 4000 pairs of glasses hopefully lots of NHS staff will be able to make use of this offer.
