Today I found something that I may piddle my pants over. McDonalds have started to sell Big Mac Special Sauce in bottles to the general public. YUMMY! As I read on, it hit me that it's only on sale in Australia. For the love of God, why? Why not the United Kingdom? Naughty McDonalds! We want to recreate Big Macs in the comfort of our home!
I reckon it's only a matter of time until they do launch a range of sauces just like that other famous food chain, Nandos. It's a major moneymaker and it'll happen.
Until then we will have to make do with making our own version of that famous Big Mac Sauce:
- 250g of Mayonnaise
- Quarter of a White Onion, minced
- Half a Gherkin, minced
- Splash of Vinegar
- Splash of French Dressing
- Teaspoon of Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Method: Mix together vigorously and then chill overnight. Voila! Your very own McDonald's Big Mac Sauce for you to slap all over your burgers.
