What is Now TV and what does it do? NOW TV is a media streaming service that allows you to watch Sky Channels, as well as other programmes and movies on demand.
It's aimed at people that are not wanting to commit to a long term contract, like Sky or Virgin Media.
As it's pay monthly, and can be cancelled should you no longer require it. Completely no strings attached, that's what makes it so popular.
How do you install a Now TV Box?
- Set up a NOW TV account. You can do that here*.
- If your box came with a voucher, then add the code to activate your Entertainment, Cinema, Kids or Sports Passes.
- Connect your Box to the TV using the HDMI cable that comes with your Now TV Box.
- Now, connect the power adapter to the Now TV Box and plug it into a socket and you'll see the box switch on.
- Put the batteries in the Remote Control.
- Switch to HDMI input on your Television.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your . Or hook your NOW TV Box up to a router or modem if using a wired (Ethernet) connection.
- Connect to your Wi-Fi network by following the instructions on the screen.
- Alternatively, you can use an Ethernet Cable to connect to the internet.
- You're nearly done! All you need to do now is sign in to your account using your NOW TV email or username and password.
- Voila! Enjoy all that entertainment!
How many devices can you have per NOW TV account?
You can now add up to 6 devices per account. Previously, it had been a maximum of 4, but NOW TV have recently changed this. Once you’ve added your 6 devices, you can make up to 3 changes each calendar month.
If you have NOW TV Boost, you can watch NOW TV on up to 3 devices at a time, or just 1 smartphone if you only have a Sky Sports Mobile Month Pass.
You may still encounter problems when trying to add new devices when not using your maximum allowance. This may be due to one or more of your slots being blocked. If this is the case it'll show you when you can add a device.
It's as easy to see what devices you have registered to your Now TV account, as it is to remove them. Simply select "My Account" then "Devices". You will probably have to sign in first.
NOW TV Box
NOW TV Boxes can be purchased in lots of places, including supermarkets and Argos* sell them, as do electrical retail giant, Currys.
Now TV Boxes are also stocked at B&M, Game,John Lewis, Amazon*, and Very*.
The box is often the starting point for people to watch Now TV, and that's great for those of you that don't own a Smart TV or other Now TV compatible device.
Each box comes complete with a special NOW TV remote control, so you can flick 'til your hearts contents.

NOW TV login
As soon as you've signed up to NOW TV you'll get a login. This is for your Now TV account and will let you access personal information and the likes.
What's great is that with the login you aren't restricted to just watching Now TV via the set top box, but you can now stream it via the app on a compatible device.

You can watch via the NOW TV app (Windows 8.1 or later), or via a web browser if you're running Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10,Mac OSX 10.9 or later.
Tablets and Smartphones
Android: Only some devices have the ability to stream NOW TV. It will work with most devices bought in the UK and in their original state.
Apple iOS iPhone: from the 4S and onwards, iPad (2nd generation or later), iPod Touch (4th generation or later) Windows tablets (Windows smartphones are not supported) and Tablets running Windows 8.1 or later.
Note: You CANNOT get Now TV on the Amazon Fire HD, Nintendo Wii or Windows Smartphones.
Games Consoles
That includes the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
Think about it... the kids can have it in their bedrooms and you only need one Now TV account.
Nintendo have hinted that Now TV and other streaming services will eventually be available on the Nintendo Switch. Currently, the Nintendo Switch does not support Not TV.

Smart Devices
Selected LG Smart TV models, selected LG Blu-ray players and sound bars, Chromecast and the Roku Streaming Stick.
Now TV Smart Box
You can now buy NOW TV Smart Boxes*from around £30, and like the regular boxes, these will allow you to watch the abundance of programmes and movies.
In addition, you'll be able to pause and rewind the live TV channels for up to 30 minutes. This means you cannot record full movies, or anything outwith that 30 minute period.
NOW TV Pass
Now TV Passes start at £3.99 a month. You can pick and choose how many or little you wish to have. You can do this by logging into your Now TV account.

As you would imagine, the Now TV Sports Package is the most expensive out the lot at £33.99 a month. The Sky Sports Month Pass allows you to watch the biggest live events in sport.
If you can't quite justify signing up monthly, then opt for the Sky Sports Week Smartphone Pass for just £5.99 a month. This gives you a week to watch as much sport as you like via five channels. Perfect for when there's a special sporting event on.

What is a NOW TV Voucher? These are codes that cover the cost of passes, over a certain period of time.
So, you may have one that gives you an Entertainment Pass for a month. That means you won't need to pay for that pass until after that month is up.
