Play is selling the Sherlock Holmes Collection – movies 1 & 2 – in two disc Blu-ray double pack for only £12.19. This would have cost you £17.99 elsewhere as that’s the price it is RRP’d for, and you not only saving £5.80 but you also get free delivery.
The first of these two movies by Guy Ritchie was actually rather good and very entertaining indeed. The second was the worst pile of rubbish I have ever encountered in my life. What a pity. We couldn’t even sit through the second one it was so bad!
That said, however, this is a brilliant price for two movies in one complete Blu-ray package and would make an excellent Christmas gift for fans of Sherlock Holmes or Guy Ritchie or Robert Downey Junior. There is plenty of action, lots of random slow motion, lovely fight scenes and great music.
