This is a brilliant toy for those older Harry Potter kids. The Kano Harry Potter Coding Wand is a lovely way to introduce the kids to the digital world. I was reluctant to shell out £99.99 for one, but now Argos has dropped the price to just £54.99. That's a cool saving of £45.
Harry Potter Coding Wand
The Kano Harry Potter Coding Wand is designed to teach children how to code. There are 70+ creative challenges and games that will test your kids in a fun, educuational way.
Everything about this techy toy is Harry Potter themed, and your child can enjoy the magic of making feathers fly, pumpkins grow, goblets multiply and so much more.
The wand comes in pieces, so you child will have to build it first, before they can use it. With it, you also get PCB with codeable LED, button, batteries, step-by-step book, stickers, poster and free access to the Kano app.
Once you're good to go, all you need to do is wave the wand to cast spells, create creatures, and get up to all kinds of other magical mischief.
It does require a tablet or computer and works with Windows 10 Pro & Home, Mac OS 10.10, iOS 10 (some iPads only), Android 5.0 (tablets only) and Amazon Fire Tablets (8 HD 2016 or newer).
What age is the Harry Potter Coding Wand for?
Due to the technical nature of the Harry Potter Coding Wand, Kano recommend it to children aged 6 years old and above.
You can Reserve and Collect your Harry Potter Wand for free from an Argos store near you, or pay £3.95 for home delivery.
