You Can Now Get LEGO Slippers! (But only in France...)

Ever known the unique pain that comes from standing on a Lego brick in bare feet? I swear there's nothing like it (except maybe childbirth, but that's a different discussion...). However, some lucky parents are about to get the problem solved in a unique and rather wonderful way with Lego slippers!

Before you get too excited this is a promotion being run in France, not in the UK. Lego France have teamed up with the French advertising agency Brand Station to create special slippers with extra padding to protect your tootsies from harm. Don't they look wonderful?

There have only been 1500 pairs made and to be in with a chance of winning one children have to fill in their Christmas Wish list on the Lego France website. I've been trying to see if UK residents can enter but neither my rusty French skills nor Google Translate have been up to the job I'm afraid, although I would think that we can't enter over here.

Let's hope they come up with a similar offer in the UK, or if they want to start selling them I bet there will be a lot of people wanting to buy them!

In the mean time I am thinking about getting one of those snazzy Lego Playmats* that scoop up all the blocks in one go. Maybe that's the only way to save my feet until those slippers come over here!
