If you've got yourself a barbecue this year then this John Lewis Barbecue Starter looks like a great addition to your set up. It's down to just £3.40 at Waitrose and Partners which seems a cracking bargain. It's a brilliant bargain for camping too.
Simply fill the chimney with charcoal briquettes, place crumpled newspaper or fire starters under the cylinder and set it in your barbecue.
To start the fire, light a long match and place it through the holes at the bottom and within five to ten minutes the charcoals should be hot. When the top ones turn a grey ash colour, gently pour the coals into your grill.
Always use a barbecue mitt or gloves when moving the starter to and from a heat source.
Minimum spend for delivery and click and collect is £40 so this is a great bargain if you are already shopping at Waitrose and Partners.
