Sodastream has changed somewhat since my childhood, and it seems they're moving on again, because the Sodastream Fizz is on sale at the Sodastream shop. They have taken £50 off the price, reducing it from £99.99 to £49.99. They are still up near the £100 mark at Amazon, and there are some for over £70 on eBay, so this is a pretty good deal.

Looking very different from the Sodastream my parents used, the Fizz Drinks maker with Fizz Chip technology comes with a digital display for an accurate and timely amount of bubbles as well as the amount of CO2remaining in your cylinder.
You can make continuous amounts of carbonated drink with control over your fizz levels.
The Drinksmaker comes with a 60 litre aluminium gas cylinder and one carbonating bottle, so you can make up to 60 litres of your favourite sparkling drinks.
