Amazon are selling a 2.4 litre crock-pot for £14.99 delivered. It's original price of £19.99 is still among the lowest prices I could find for a new crock-pot, and it has really good reviews.
I'm not a slow-cooker person myself, since I'm not a stew person, but I have a number of friends who love and swear by their slow cookers, using them regularly. Apparently they make midweek cooking simpler, feeding a family cheaper, and are perfect for cold and wintery days.... I can see the appeal.
Ideal for a couple or small family, Amazon says this slow cooker allows you to produce healthy, tasty and good value meals for a small family.
Simply chop up and prepare the ingredients, turn the unit on using one of two heat settings (Low or High) and continue your day. Depending on the recipe and cooking setting you selected, food will be beautifully slow cooked within 2-10 hours.
The dishwasher safe pot and lid means makes for easy cleaning and the pot itself is oven proof if you want to do a quick reheat.
Anyone use one of these?
