How to redeem
Users aged 18 years old+ (in certain countries) need to register a credit card or link a PayPal account on the Nintendo website. Then redeem your Nintendo Switch Online membership on your Nintendo Switch.
You need to be logged in to your Nintendo Account that's linked to your Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop before you can redeem your Nintendo Switch Online membership.
After you've claimed the first 3 month offer, and after 60 days following your first claim, you can get the 9 months membership offer by visiting here*, and clicking "Claim Now".
You'll be sent an email reminder to the email address that you have registered to your Amazon account to claim the 9 month offer.
When does this offer end?
First time users have until 24th September 2019 to claim the Nintendo Switch Online offer. Should you claim the first offer of 3 months before that time, you'll be be able to claim the additional 9 month membership offer after 60 days, providing you remain an active Twitch Prime member.
The 9 month membership offer has to be redeemed before 22nd January 2020.
What happens when the free offer ends?
Once the 3 month Nintendo Switch Online membership offer ends, auto-renew kicks in, and your membership will renew without you needing to do anything. It renews for a 3 month period at a time.
You can turn off auto-renew, by doing so at least 48 hours before the end of the 3 month free period.
If you're at the end of the 9 month membership, and auto-renewal isn't already in place, then it will automatically set to a 12 month renewal period.
This means that should you not turn off the auto-renew at least 48 hours before the end of the 9 month period, your membership will be automatically renewed for a 12 month period.
If automatic renewal was already in situ when the 9 month membership was redeemed, then nothing will change with that and any existing auto-renew settings remain the same.
A credit/debit card or PayPal account is required for users aged 18 and over.
If auto-renew is turned off in time, then no payments will be taken from your payment method and your Nintendo Switch Online membership will end without charge.
