If you are a Harry Potter fan then you may have been involved in last year's Harry Potter Book Night. Well, the good news is that it was such a success that it will now be an annual event, and the next one is coming very soon on February 4th.
This is such a lovely event as it's a way for fans of all ages to get together and celebrate their favourite books, and everyone can get involved in whatever way they wish. There are big free events being held all around the country at books stores and libraries, or you can hold your own event with friends and family.
Although the date has passed to register for the printed event kit for this years event you can download and print loads of resources from last years event to make your night fun. There are games, fact sheets, activities and lots of ideas to make your evening full of magic, or you can pop along to a local event and join in that way.
There are hundreds of events already registered on the official Harry Potter Book Night website, and you can search here for your nearest event to see what you fancy doing. The Harry Potter Book Night is a worldwide celebration so if you happen to find yourself in some far flung destination next Thursday then the chances are there will still be Potter fans celebrating somewhere nearby!
