One of my favourite places to go for a cuppa and a slab of cake is Dobbies. I have a wee toodle around the garden centre, then to their coffee shop for that sweet treat. It's been a while since I've done that due to lockdown, but now Dobbies are holding their Get Together events, where you can enjoy FREE tea or coffee and cake there will be no stopping me.
Dobbies Get Together
The Dobbies Get Together events are a way of getting you and your loved ones back together for that traditional daytime treat of tea (or coffee) and cake. It's completely free, but you will need to book it in advance as it'll prove very popular. Just hit on the link above and select the Dobbies store of your choice.
The dates of the Dobbies Get Together events are from Monday 3rd August in England and Northern Ireland, and Monday 10th August in Scotland and Wales.
When you do start the booking process, you'll be given a selection of dates and times to choose from. You must only attend the slot you chosen.
There's no stipulation of what type of cakes will be on offer, but Dobbies don't do naff cakes, so you'll not be disappointed.
Social distancing rules will be in place, so be sure to adhere to them to keep the event as safe as can be.
