Well, what can I say? It's come to our attention that it looks as though Lidl stores across the country will be starting a huge clearance on their wine and champagne range from tomorrow! We've heard from various sources that the following will be included :
- Chevalier de Lascombes 2011 Margaux reduced from £18.99 to £4.99
- Champagne de Vallois Brut Millesime 2007 £14.99 to £4.99
- Marquis de St Vincent Medoc AOC 2012 from £6.99 to £4.99
But apparently that's just a taster, with the promise of more reductions, especially on the pricier wine and champagne ranges.
Will this be happening in my store?
Well that's the million dollar question really. It will of course vary from store to store but we've been told it's to make way for new stock so it's definitely worth checking out we think. If there's a chance you can grab some £4.99 bottles of champagne this close to Christmas and New Year, it would be a shame not to at least have a look if you're passing!
