I can't believe I am going to say this...but forget Ben and Jerrys because there's a new kid in town. Cadbury's have released a new ice-cream range called Marvellous Ice Creams. There are four different flavours to choose from: Jelly Popping Candy, Zingy Raspberry Choc Brownie, Salted Caramel & Sour Cherry and Fairground Candy Crunch.
I can confess to spooning three quarters of Jelly Popping Candy Ice Cream down my throat the other night and boy was it good. It started off as I will just have a wee taste to me shovelling it in like a snow plough. To call it a good ice cream would be an underestimate, it's PHENOMENAL!
Here's what's in them all apart from a LOT of calories:
Salted Caramel & Sour Cherry - chocolate and salted caramel ice cream, swirls of chocolate, sea salt digestives, whole cherries and praline.
Fairground Candy Crunch - chocolate and candy floss ice cream, swirls of chocolate, raspberry jellies, marshmallows and pink sugar crunch.
Zingy Raspberry Choc Brownie - vanilla and chocolate ice cream, swirls of chocolate, raspberry sauce, brownies and raspberry sweets.
Jelly Popping Candy - vanilla and chocolate ice cream with a swirls of Dairy Milk, popping candy, raspberry jelly pieces and sugar coated cocoa candies
Sadly, I am supposedly on a diet just now which apparently means I am not to try the other flavours, so for the love of God you just have to tell me what they are like.
They were due to go on sale at the end of March but I got mine in my local Asda on Tuesday night, so have a nosey. I paid only £2.89 but apparently the RRP is £3.99.
