There has been lots of media coverage recently about mould accumulating in non-spill cups. If this has turned your stomach you may be interested in Doidy Cups made by Bickiepegs. These normally sell for around the £5 mark which may seem like a lot for a plastic cup. Amazon have the blue, red and yellow coloured ones for just £3.70.
The blue and yellow are Add-on items which mean you can only purchase them when part of an order totalling £20 or more.
What is a Doidy Cup? It's a plastic cup designed to teach children to drink from a 'grown-up' cup rather than a spouted cup or bottle. It has a slanted design that prevents spills and makes it easier for little ones to drink in sips rather than pouring it all down them.
It has two handles so it's easy for babies and toddlers to hold it steadily. These can be put in the dishwasher and are also microwave safe.
Delivery is FREE (on the red) if you have Amazon Prime. If you don't have Amazon and you don't want to spend £20, then delivery is £3.99.
You can Click and Collect your Doidy Cup when ordering for John Lewis but there is a £2 charge. If you are going into store, then you might as well skip the ordering them online part and save yourself the £2 collection fee.
