BLT
Ingredients:
- Cherry Tomatoes
- A few Iceberg Lettuce Leaves
- Bacon Medallions or Turkey Rashers
Method:
- Grill the Bacon or Turkey Rashers until cooked fully.
- Cut the Tomatoes in half and thread onto cocktail sticks.
- Followed by a small piece of Lettuce and square of Bacon/Turkey Rashers.
Frozen Banana with Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- Bananas (as many as you like)
- Syn Free Ice Cream
Method:
- Cut up Bananas and pop into a Freezer-proof Bowl.
- Freeze until hard and serve with a scoop or two of the Syn Free Ice Cream.
Ploughman's On a Stick
Ingredients:
- Thin Slices of LEAN Ham (no visible fat)
- Silverskin Pickled Onions
- Apple
Method:
- Cube the Apple. You can peel it too if you are not keen on the skin.
- Slice the Ham and thread onto Cocktail Sticks.
- Follow this by popping on an onion followed by the apple.
Nachos
Ingredients:
- 2 Baking Potatoes
- Low-calorie Cooking Spray
- Salt
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 250g LEAN Beef Mince (5% fat or less)
- 1 Brown Onion
- 1 Red or Green Pepper
- 230g Can of Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 2 teaspoon Fajita Spice Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 tube Primula Light Cheese
- Fresh Green or Red Chillies (optional)
Method:
- Cut the Potatoes into wedges, slice the Onions and Pepper.
- Microwave the Potato Wedges on HIGH for 3 and a half minutes.
- Spray Wedges with Cooking Spray and sprinkle with Salt and Pepper.
- Oven Cook for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. If using Air Fryer, shake frequently and cook for 20 minutes.
- Make the Chilli by frying the onions in Cooking Spray.
- Add the Mince into the Frying Pan and brown.
- Now add in the Pepper, Chopped Tomatoes, Cumin, Fajita Spice Seasoning and Paprika.
- Cook on low heat for 30-45 minutes.
- Once Chilli is complete, fill the bottom of an Ovenproof Dish* with the Wedges.
- Layer the Chilli on top of the Wedges.
- Spread the Primula on and put in the oven until melted and golden.
Frozen Grapes
Ingredients:
- Any variety of Grape (Black, Green or Red)
Method:
- Cut up or keep whole.
- Put in the Freezer for two hours.
- Can be eaten alone, or with Mullerlight Yogurt.
